Discovering My Passion

My lifelong love of reading and natural talent for spotting errors in all sorts of text drew me to the proofreading profession. When I discovered that proofreading was a career option, I purchased a book to see what it was all about. In the book, the writer described how one might find the word "spaghetti" misspelled in an Italian restaurant. Funny thing was, that exact thing had happened to me just weeks before I discovered professional proofreading. It was one tiny moment that made me say, "That's it! This is meant to be." I wish this had always been my profession, but better late than never!
